I Tried Dropshipping With $100 As A Complete Beginner

I’ve always been interested in entrepreneurship and ecommerce, so when I heard about dropshipping, I was intrigued. Dropshipping is a business model in which you sell products without having to carry any inventory. I decided to give it a try with a $100 budget. Here’s what I learned.

The Best Ways To Get Profits with Dropshipping

What Is Dropshipping?

Dropshipping is a business model in which you sell products without having to carry any inventory. When a customer places an order on your website, you simply contact the supplier, who will then ship the product directly to the customer’s doorsteps. Dropshipping is a great way to start an ecommerce business with little upfront investment.

Why Did I Try Dropshipping?

I’ve always been interested in entrepreneurship and ecommerce, so when I heard about dropshipping, I was intrigued. I was also attracted to the low barrier to entry; all you need is a computer and an internet connection to get started. Plus, with dropshipping, there’s no need to rent a physical space or invest in inventory, which makes it a great option for those with limited funds.

How Did It Go?

I started by creating a Shopify store and choosing a theme that I liked. Then, I signed up for Oberlo, which is a marketplace that connects Shopify stores with dropship suppliers. With Oberlo, I was able to add products from various suppliers to my store with just a few clicks. Once my store was set up and my product pages were live, it was time to start driving traffic.

I did this by creating social media accounts for my store and running ads on Facebook and Instagram. To my surprise, people started making purchases almost immediately! Within the first week, I made over $700 in sales. Since then, sales have been steadily increasing, and I’ve even been able to quit my day job to focus on my business full-time.

Conclusion

Dropshipping is a great way to start an ecommerce business with little upfront investment. If you’re thinking about starting a dropshipping business of your own, I recommend starting with $100 as your budget. This will allow you to test the waters and see if dropshipping is right for you without risking too much money. Who knows—you might just end up quitting your day job like I did!
