The Weirdest Ways To Make Money Online
1. Selling My Old Clothes
One of the easiest ways to make some extra money is by selling your old clothes. You can do this by going through your closet and pulling out any clothes that you don’t wear anymore. Once you have a pile of clothes, you can either sell them online or take them to a consignment store.
I like to sell my old clothes on Poshmark because it’s easy and convenient. All I have to do is take a few pictures of the items, write a description, and set a price. Then, Poshmark takes care of the rest. I’ve sold everything from suite to shoes on Poshmark, and I usually make around $100 per month.
2. Taking Surveys
Another easy way to make money online is by taking surveys. There are a lot of companies that will pay you for your opinion, and all you have to do is sign up for their panel and start taking surveys. I like Survey Junkie because they have a wide variety of surveys available and they send payments directly to my PayPal account. I usually make around $20 per month from taking surveys.
3. Renting Out My Room on Airbnb
If you have an extra room in your house or apartment, you can make some serious cash by renting it out on Airbnb. I rented out my spare bedroom for six months last year and made over $5,000! Not only was it a great way to earn some extra money, but it was also a great way to meet new people from all over the world.
4. Starting a Blog
Blogging is another great way to make money online. You can start a blog about any topic that interests you, and there are many ways to monetize your blog once it’s up and running. You can sell advertising space, promote affiliate products, or even sell your own products or services through your blog. I started my blog as a hobby but it quickly turned into a full-time business! In my first year of blogging, I made over $30,000 from my blog.
5 . flipping furniture
This one definitely falls into the “weird” category but hear me out! A few months ago, I came across an article about flipping furniture and I was instantly intrigued. The basic idea is that you buy used furniture from yard sales or thrift stores and then refinish it before selling it for a profit.
So far, I’ve made over $500 from flipping furniture and I’m having a blast! Not only do I get to save money by buying used furniture, but I also get the satisfaction of knowing that I’m giving old furniture a new lease on life. Plus, it’s really fun to see the transformation that takes place after spending some time sanding down an old dresser or table!
